Claire Ward Nutritional Therapist at heverhealth.com

Claire Ward has been working in nutrition for nearly two decades. She holds a BSc Honours Degree in Nutritional Therapy from the University of Westminster, is a member of the British Association for Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine (BANT) and is accredited by the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC). Her practice is evidence-based, root-cause focused and genuinely personalised: no generic plans, no shortcuts.

After graduating in 2010, Claire worked across a range of clinical and commercial nutrition roles before founding Nutri-Kind Nutrition in 2013. Her client list since then reflects the breadth of her expertise. She has worked as nutritional support for the London Scottish rugby team and with professional footballers and boxers. She has delivered nutrition programmes for pre-natal groups and health initiatives for children. She has served as an in-house nutritional therapist at The Nutricentre and Lloyds Pharmacy, consulted for personal trainers across London and Essex, and lectured on nutrition at schools.

Beyond clinical practice, Claire has delivered talks to the corporate world on healthy eating and foods for energy, collaborated with IKEA on a sleep retreat, edited nutrition books for their scientific content, written articles for a wide range of health and wellness publications, and designed restaurant menus with dedicated sections for allergies and intolerances.

This is not a practitioner who has spent her career in a single consulting room. She has applied nutritional science in elite sport, corporate wellness, early years development and the high-pressure environments of central London practice. That breadth of experience means she is rarely surprised by a complex case and is well equipped to help where others have not.

Claire writes about the nutritional topics that matter most to her patients. Her articles on persistent fatigue, hormonal imbalance and diet, IBS and food intolerance and nutrition for injury recovery reflect the cases she works with most regularly. Her explanation of what functional testing is and when it is useful addresses one of the questions new patients most frequently ask.

What Claire Can Help With

Claire’s specific areas of expertise are weight management and metabolic health, fertility and reproductive nutrition, hormonal imbalance, perimenopause and menopause, digestive health including IBS, bloating and food intolerances, mental health and mood with a nutritional component, and chronic fatigue and energy management.

She also provides nutritional support for athletes and active individuals, immune health, skin health, and general wellbeing and disease prevention.

How Claire Works

Your initial consultation is thorough. Claire takes a detailed health and dietary history, reviews your current lifestyle and goals, and where appropriate recommends functional testing to assess nutrient levels, gut function, hormonal markers or other clinically relevant indicators. From this she designs a personalised nutrition protocol built entirely around you: practical meal and recipe ideas, targeted supplement guidance, lifestyle advice and any additional information specific to your case. Follow-up sessions track your progress, refine the approach and ensure the results continue to build.
